About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sales VP to join our global team. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing sales processes, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance our competitive advantage in specific categories.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in targeted categories.
  2. Provide strong leadership, guidance, and a healthy challenge to the sales and marketing teams, setting clear objectives, performance metrics, and expectations.
  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market positioning.
  4. Lead a team of category commercial directors to drive weekly trading reviews, actions, and decisions to ensure we are responding to market development on a weekly cadence.
  5. Hold together country product portfolio, pricing, channel ranging, and product life cycle across multiple product categories.
  6. Governance around category-specific sales forecasts, budgets, and promotional spending.
  7. Work with teams across the business to execute against the NPD launch.
  8. Influence and collaborate on the future product roadmap to ensure that each category will grow profitably YoY.
  9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the sales organization.
  10. Mentor and develop sales team members, providing coaching and support to help them achieve their full potential.

Requirements

  1. 15+ years of experience in business or commercial management.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and critically about the best course of action to achieve desired objectives.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  4. A driven individual who thrives on balancing multiple moving pieces simultaneously without letting go of any detail.
  5. Problem-solving and initiative.
  6. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at various levels.
  7. Ability to travel as needed.
