Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Operative with FLT to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading of factory collections using Counterbalance/Pivot Truck.
  • Inspecting and loading of exports via container.
  • Loading prepared orders onto vehicles in accordance with operating procedures.
  • Handling all goods with care and attention.
  • Stock control and maintenance of records.
  • Cleaning, including clean as you go.
  • High levels of accuracy.
  • Quality Control.
  • General housekeeping and upkeep of the work area and equipment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Full driver's license essential as you may be required to provide inter-depot support (mileage and day bonus paid in return).
  • Good communication and team working skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ideally previous experience of working within a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Pivot Truck and Counterbalance license preferred (but not essential as training can be provided).
