About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable teams, producing monthly spreadsheets, and reconciling discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationships: Develop strong working relationships with clients' accounts payable teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient payment processes.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Credit Management: Monitor client indebtedness, collaborate with team leaders and the Finance Manager to prevent defaults, and resolve payment issues.
  • Reporting: Generate ad-hoc reports on clients as needed and prepare information for auditors.
  • Accounts Administration: Reconcile own ledger, perform general accounts duties, and allocate cash accordingly.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to analyze financial data and identify trends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective client liaison and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to manage and analyze financial data.
