Job Description

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our geotechnical design team, you will be responsible for leading and managing geotechnical design projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage geotechnical design projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement geotechnical design solutions, utilizing finite element modeling and analysis software such as PLAXIS2D/3D.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or nearing attainment.
  • Strong academic background in civil engineering, ideally complemented by a postgraduate qualification in geotechnical engineering.
  • Proven experience in geotechnical design, project management, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply technical expertise to complex geotechnical challenges.
