About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at ALPLA UK Limited. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the product being packed meets the required specification and reporting any defects to supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the product being packed meets the required specification.
  • Report any defects to Supervision.
  • Ensure the packaging is of an acceptable standard, removing any cartons, trays, etc. which do not meet the required specification.
  • Check that each label is the correct one for the product being packed and ensure that the date and packer no. is clearly marked on each label.
  • Ensure that goods are properly wrapped and report any faults immediately to supervision.
  • Ensure that housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with health and safety practice.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience of operating machinery would be advantageous.
  • Awareness of H&S requirements within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
