Temporary Food Service Assistant Opportunity

Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Temporary Food Service Assistant to join our team at Gateshead College, Baltic Campus. As a Temporary Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for performing basic food preparation, preparing sandwiches and other grab and go foods, and working front of house, operating the tills and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare grab and go foods, such as sandwiches, wraps, and paninis.
• Clean both back and front of house, ensuring the unit is clean and tidy before, during, and after service.
• General front of house duties, including operating the till, cash handling, keeping financial records, providing excellent customer service, and serving customers.
• Make hot and cold drinks and serve food on the food counters, adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:
• Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work.
• Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 or willing to obtain via our e-learning system.
• Previous hospitality or food handling experience is desirable, but full training will be given to the right candidate.
