About the Role

As a MongoDB Database Administrator, you will work collaboratively with our delivery teams to build the best solutions for Nationwide using your technical leadership skills and SME knowledge. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from design and build to support of both non-production and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain MongoDB databases and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to build solutions for Nationwide
  • Provide technical leadership and SME knowledge to support MongoDB
  • Work on-call from time to time

Requirements

  • Proven track record in providing technical delivery through the design, build, and implementation of MongoDB
  • Deep knowledge and experience of operating system concepts of Linux (preferably RHEL)
  • Configuring and supporting MongoDB OpsManager for backups and deployments
  • Understanding of MongoDB architecture, replication, and sharding
  • Supporting document-based JSON data structures, exporting, and importing documents
