Pertemps Cambridge - Academy Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled Academy Trainer to join our team at Pertemps Cambridge. As a leading educational institution, we provide full training for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Building Services/Heating and Ventilation industry, preferably qualified to level 3. Assessing and IQA qualifications are desirable, but training will be available for suitable candidates.

In this role, you will provide 1:1 and small group training and support for students, conduct assessments in the workplace and at college, and conduct regular learning reviews with apprentices and their employers.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to transition from the building services industry to the education sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality training and assessment to meet the needs of students and employers.
  • Conducting regular learning reviews to ensure students are meeting the required standards.
  • Visiting apprentices in their workplace to assist with their development.

The successful candidate will possess good planning, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a current driving license and willingness to use their own vehicle for business purposes.

The salary for this position is £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes 27 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, and discounted rates on Apple products.
