Job Title: Physiotherapist Functional Assessor

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with flexible hours and a true work-life balance.

About the Role

As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. You will draw on your clinical expertise to listen carefully to each person's medical history, perform a physical examination, and produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to decide each person's eligibility for benefits.

The role involves meeting people both face-to-face and via telephone/video. You will be sensitive, compassionate, and able to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards.

Requirements
  • Continuous Professional Development present on CV.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • IT skills and experience of using a range of software.
  • Self-aware and focused on professional development.
  • Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect, and sensitivity in assessment delivery.

Training and Development
