Job Summary

Gousto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Team Leader to join our team in the evenings. As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of production staff to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Motivate the Production Team
    • Work with the team to set and achieve production targets
    • Ensure that health and safety is given high priority and is considered in all plans, actions, and activities
    • Help build, train, and develop high-performing teams and define clear career progression opportunities
  • Operational Excellence
    • Conduct safety checks on all equipment operated throughout the production process
    • Monitor activities of workers during production to ensure quality and efficiency
    • Responsible for meeting quality assurance standards
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Maintain regular communication with interrelated departments, such as technical and engineering, to plan and execute production goals efficiently
    • Ensure worker scheduling and attendance records are up to date

Requirements

  • Experience leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced FMCG environment
  • Good understanding of HR policies that support behavioral and performance management of the team
  • Ability to drive Gousto culture, team engagement, and provide a sense of purpose to the team
  • Computer literate - Google Sheets, MS Word
  • Basic problem-solving ability (RCA, 5Why's)
