Job Description

As a highly skilled Stock Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production areas. You will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and managing inventory levels across both locations.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £28,000 per annum, with additional benefits including life insurance, health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as opportunities for growth and professional development within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily stock counts to monitor levels and maintain optimal inventory.
  • Resolve stock issues and report findings to prevent errors.
  • Track stock using Sage 200 ERP, generate reports, and analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Streamline processes, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and participate in audits to ensure compliance.
  • Align with teams to ensure material availability and communicate status updates.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in Sage 200 ERP and WMS systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of inventory control best practices, cycle counting, and loss prevention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
