About the Opportunity:
NHS Professionals, in partnership with Chase Farm Hospital, is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Psychiatry. This exciting opportunity is part of the soon-to-be-formed North London Mental Health Partnership Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and risk assessments to develop effective management plans.
- Ensure the safe prescription of psychotropic medications for service users.
- Lead and participate in daily patient management meetings, providing consultation to the Multidisciplinary Team on patient care.
- Manage patients detained under the Mental Health Act, including restricted patients.
Requirements:
- Valid GMC registration.
- Right to work in the UK (note: sponsorship is not offered).
- Minimum 6 months NHS experience.
- Specialist Registration preferred but not essential.

About the Role:
This Consultant Psychiatrist position is based at Devon Ward, Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield. The ward accommodates 12 male patients and primarily serves the London Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. The ward boasts an exceptional Multidisciplinary Team, comprising medical professionals, nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other specialists.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday.
Pay and Benefits:
- From £80.00 per hour.
- 40-50 hours per week.
