Clinical Psychologist Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Psychologist to join our Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) Team, embedded within the Liaison and Diversion service. The successful candidate will work closely with our Principal Psychologist and clinical lead to develop and evaluate new service delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and evaluation of new MHTR service delivery models.
- Undertake psychological assessments and interventions of service users, working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate and liaise with other disciplines involved in the service user's care, including criminal justice colleagues and partners.
- Attend and contribute to appropriate multi-disciplinary meetings.
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to service users to enhance awareness of their psychological needs.

Requirements
- Good Honours undergraduate degree in Psychology.
- Experience of working with adults or older adults with mental health difficulties.
- Postgraduate or additional qualification in psychology-related discipline or subject.
