Exciting Opportunity for a Catastrophe Analyst

IPS Group is partnering with a highly innovative, algorithm-driven Lloyd's syndicate to find a talented Catastrophe Analyst to join their team at a Senior level. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple lines of business, providing pricing and analytics to key internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of catastrophe models, preferably with a focus on specialty lines. Technical proficiency in SQL is desired, with additional coding and programming languages being highly advantageous. The successful candidate will be keen to immerse fully into a unique, forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain catastrophe models for specialty lines
  • Provide pricing and analytics to internal stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally with other team members on product development and risk analysis

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of catastrophe models and specialty lines
  • Technical proficiency in SQL and additional programming languages
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
