We are a dynamic and growing startup dedicated to providing private and personal memoirs. As we experience strong growth, we are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as Chief of Staff.

Job Overview

The Chief of Staff will work closely with the CEO to manage all business operations, excluding the production of our memoirs, which is managed by the Operations Director. This is an Executive role that is office based with the opportunity for some work from home days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Operations Management: Oversee and streamline all business operations, including administrative functions, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate cross-functional projects related to business, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Executive Support: Assist the CEO with scheduling, meeting preparations, and follow-ups, ensuring they are well-prepared and informed for business-related decisions.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Handle communications with clients and stakeholders, ensuring strong relationships are maintained and business goals are met. Deal with travel arrangements and other administration.
  • HR and IT Oversight: Oversee HR administration and IT management, coordinating with external providers and ensuring efficient business operations.
  • Forward thinking: Understanding the opportunities provided by technology and AI to a growing startup and able to research and implement for the purpose of continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Involvement: Participate in strategic planning sessions focused on business growth and operational efficiency, providing insights to help shape the company's direction.

Qualifications

  • Current Role: You are likely in one of the following roles: Chief of Staff of a small to medium-sized enterprise, Senior Executive Assistant, Operations Manager, Project Manager, HR Manager, Business Development Manager.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a relevant role with increasing responsibility.
  • Skills: Strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, open-minded to lead change and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Growth Mindset: A desire to take on more responsibility and grow into a Chief of Staff role, with a long-term vision of contributing to the company's success at a strategic level.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
