We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineering Lead to join our team at Delkia. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage the Engineering Team: Provide technical guidance and support to the mechanical and process engineering team.
  • Design and Implementation: Oversee the design and implementation of piping systems, heavy instrumentation systems, and gas handling systems.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
  • Project Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to define project scopes, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Technical Reviews: Conduct technical reviews and assessments of engineering designs and documentation.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer Status: Mandatory.
  • Qualifications: Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in mechanical and process engineering, preferably within the aerospace, clean energy, or maritime sectors.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of piping systems, heavy instrumentation systems, and gas handling (e.g., argon, nitrogen).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Excellent understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound engineering decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
