Data Strategy and Transformation Graduate Programme

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our international Data team, supporting the implementation of data practices throughout the business and helping to develop good governance and management of data and data projects within MBDA.

The Data team is part of our Transformation and Improvement team, which is made up of major projects assisting our international business in achieving operational excellence and preparing for the future.

As a graduate, you will experience four placements, providing a group understanding of data within the international environment, learning of the business functional areas, and developing key change management skills to contribute to the delivery of the international data strategy.

This role suits those looking to work on a wide variety of data-related tasks and activities on a daily basis, with support and mentorship from a skilled and experienced data team and practical training to develop your skills in:
  1. Understanding data strategy and business application of data practices & projects
  2. Presenting and communicating in different forums
  3. Helping you build and maintain relationships within the business & with our external partners
  4. Analysing business challenges and positively influencing business decisions
Requirements:
  1. Degree qualified in Business Computing, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics and Business & Management Studies (2.2 or above)
  2. Knowledge of Data Networks, Python, SQL, Business Intelligence (BI) or desire to learn
  3. Passion for Data, Change Management & Transformation
  4. Understanding of benefits that data management can bring to an organisation
  5. Strong Communication skills and ability to build relationships quickly
