Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Science Technician to join our team at a dynamic school in Central London. As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting science experiments and practical lessons, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up equipment for practical lessons, working closely with teaching staff to ensure a smooth and safe learning experience.
  • Maintain and organize laboratory equipment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school events as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 6 months of experience as a Science Technician in a UK Secondary school.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and motivate students.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced educational environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
