Job Title: Care Assistant to a Young Adult, Worsley
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to support a young adult male with complex care needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in providing Complex Care to young people and be able to build positive relationships with our client, his family, and other professionals.
Our client is a wonderful, sociable young man who will thrive in the company of the right Care Professional. He lives at home with his family and attends college five days a week, where he enjoys socialising and spending time with his friends.
He likes to have a good time, a laugh, and a giggle. As you get to know our client, you will become familiar with his preferred methods of non-verbal communication. He'll be certain to let you know when he's having a good time and when he's not.
Our client has a range of hobbies and interests such as music, crafts, painting, baking, and reading books. He loves to be outside (depending on the weather), going to the theatre, and watching TV.
Requirements:
- 6 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience:
- Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
- Oral Suctioning
Additional Information:
Location: Worsley
Hours: 20hrs, flexible through the week including weekends. Rate of Pay: £12 - £15 per hour (double pay on bank holidays)
Driver Required: YES
