Mechanical Service Technician

We have an opening for a highly skilled Field Service Engineer at our Plymouth Office.
The annual salary for this role is around £50,000, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend customer locations to determine the scope of work required.
- Liaise with the controller and customer on expected work, providing clarity on timescales and costs.
- Identify root causes of breakdowns and obtain parts in the most cost-effective way.
- Ensure all work complies with engineering standards.
- Carry out inspections/checks on your work, ensuring equipment performs satisfactorily and safely.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need a relevant technical qualification, previous experience within a similar role, and a good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles.
You must be able to work independently and under pressure, manage and prioritise workload, and understand customer needs.
