Job Summary


We are looking for a highly skilled Procurement Manager to support indirect procurement across the business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and supporting procurement activities, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.



Key Responsibilities



  • Sourcing and Contract Management: Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery, and quality. Run and support tenders, evaluate bids, and make recommendations.
  • Procurement Support: Provide procurement support to negotiate and agree contracts, supporting internal teams to monitor the quality of service provided.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with teams who procure services or goods across the business, advising on best practice and governance regarding procurement activities.
  • Policy Development: Work with all relevant stakeholders to roll out a procurement policy across the company.
  • Contract Renewal Management: Monitor renewal dates for key contracts using the contract management system (Comet) and liaise with internal stakeholders on support and resource needed.
  • SLA and KPI Management: Support business owners to build in SLAs, KPIs, and Supplier Management principles to the contract and continuously manage these measures.


About You


The successful candidate will have:



  • A proven track record of experience in procurement and purchasing within retail or multi-site operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • A personable approach when building and sustaining relationships, both internal and external.
