We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team and pick up Bank shifts across our services. You will have the opportunity to work in the adult acute unit and CAMHS unit, depending on service needs.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with patients, effectively manage risk, and promote patient involvement in their care and treatment.
- Work with a large multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, other registered mental health nurses, healthcare assistants, teaching staff, therapists, and occupational therapists.
- Be involved in the assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care.
The adolescent unit consists of 2 wards, catering mainly to adult private patients and adult OCD patients referred through the NHS. We work with 12 to 17 year olds presenting with a wide range of mental health problems, including self-harm, attachment difficulties, and emotional dysregulation.
We use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), which is an evidence-based approach for use with self-harm. We provide regular training and supervision on-site for this.
