Senior Chartered Building Surveyor Opportunity

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy in Reigate, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on building design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment.
  • Conduct inspections, acquisition surveys, condition reports, measured surveys, and defect investigations.
  • Design and oversee works using recognized building contracts and current technical standards.
  • Lead large-value projects independently, with a strong understanding of professional consultancy services.
  • Apply relevant legislation, including health and safety, party wall, building regulations, and planning.
  • Support APC candidates in promoting knowledge and understanding.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in consulting engineering, surveying, architectural, and planning practices.
  • Defect diagnosis and report writing expertise.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets on large-scale projects.
  • Understanding of CDM Regs 2015, Party Wall, and Building Regulation legislation.
  • Strong mathematical, scientific, and IT skills, with the ability to problem-solve.
  • BSc in Building Surveying or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
