Join Our Team as a Trainee Utility Surveyor

Met Consultancy Group is a leading Geospatial Survey company in the UK, and we're looking for enthusiastic Trainee Utility Surveyors to join our integrated Surveying, Geophysics, and Utility Mapping Company.

About the Role

We're seeking self-motivated individuals with a genuine ambition to grow and develop a career in utility mapping. As a Trainee Utility Surveyor, you'll learn how to use GPS and Total Stations, AutoCAD and processing software, Electromagnetic Location equipment, and Ground Penetrating Radar.

You'll work safely on a range of sites, including domestic, commercial, and industrial, carrying out utility surveys and working to PAS128 specifications. You'll also process data and prepare AutoCAD drawings and reports for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process data and prepare AutoCAD drawings and reports for clients.
  • Use electromagnetic detection and ground-penetrating radar to find buried features.
Requirements
  • A T-Level in Design, Survey & Planning for Construction, or a minimum of 2 A-levels, or an equivalent relevant vocational qualification.
  • A high level of motivation and willingness to work hard and learn.
  • UK resident or with the right to work/stay with relevant permits/visas to live and work in the UK with good written and spoken English.
  • A full UK driving licence.
