Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our Supervalu & Centra stores in the Greater Belfast Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily store operations, ensuring effective implementation of policies, procedures, and brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve and maintain high KPI targets through efficient store management.
- Maximise store sales by strategically positioning stock, managing promotions, and adhering to brand guidelines.
- Optimise gross margin through effective management of store layouts, range, and own label participation.
- Coordinate quarterly stock takes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage overhead costs, including rostering, to meet agreed targets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain consistently high overall store standards, meeting auditing requirements.
- E nsure customer, colleague, and third-party safety by implementing legal compliance measures.
- Attract and retain talent through effective recruitment campaigns, ensuring fair employment practices.
- Lead and develop your team, maintaining a strong colleague base, and promoting a positive work environment.
- A competitive salary: £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience.

- A minimum of 2 years recent experience in a convenience store at Store Manager level or equivalent.
- GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent), and/or further education in a related discipline.
- Proven experience in stock control, people management, cost control, local marketing, HACCP implementation, and security.
- Demonstrated experience in team management.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel packages.
- Experience in Post Office, off-licence, or forecourt operations.
- Good knowledge of food safety practices.
