Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our High-Performance Computing (HPC) team at Moody's Corporation. As a key member of our Technology Services Group, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and supporting Linux-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, manage, configure, and support company-wide Linux and HPC environments.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices for Linux systems and HPC clusters.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' proven experience managing Red Hat/CentOS systems, including installation, configuration, user/group management.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Jenkins.
  • Experience with coding; Bash, Shell, Python - and version control systems, Git, Github.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zenoss, LogicMonitor or similar.
  • Knowledge of IBM Spectrum Scale, Spectrum Protect and their services advantageous.
  • Any exposure to Public Cloud services, or hybrid connectivity also advantageous.
