Join the Portfolio Delivery Team at MBDA and take on a challenging role that will enable you to influence the design process for the entire portfolio of complex weapons. As a Portfolio Delivery Engineer (Electrical Architecture), you will be key in the management of strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities and capitalise opportunities brought about by Commonality, Modularity and Reuse (C,M&R).

On a day-to-day basis, you will be managing engineering issues that emerge to pose a risk, requiring a flexible and creative approach. You will be tasked with translating the Portfolio C,M&R Opportunities and Vulnerabilities Management Strategy into engineering plans to support projects and equipment design authorities.

You will lead delivery risk awareness and establish links with stakeholders across MBDA. The Portfolio team pioneers MBDA's engineering strategy, operating in a unique position by sitting across all projects and equipment teams. You will communicate effectively with different engineering disciplines within MBDA, external suppliers, and the customer.

You will manage priorities optimally with different issues across multiple projects. Technical experience is desired in electrical/electronics, knowledge of defence/industry standards, etc. A degree-level qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent in a related subject is required.

MBDA offers a range of benefits, including a company bonus of up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year), a maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14% to the pension scheme, and opportunities for paid overtime. Enhanced parental leave is also offered, with up to 26 weeks for maternity, adoption, and shared parental leave.
