Job Summary:
Morson Talent is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support construction projects for one of our prestigious defence clients. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing contractors on site, advanced project reporting and scheduling, managing the construction lifecycle, and managing risks to the success of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contractors on site to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Develop and implement advanced project reporting and scheduling systems to ensure project success.
- Manage the construction lifecycle from planning to completion, ensuring all aspects of the project are executed according to plan.
- Identify and mitigate risks to the success of the project, applying appropriate project management methods and tools.
- Develop and implement project management practices and procedures to ensure project success.
- Manage project budgets and ensure financial health of the project.
Requirements:
- Experience in project management within a construction environment.
- Construction or health and safety certification, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or SMSTS.
- Project management qualification, such as the APM Project Management Qualification.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of project management policies, processes, procedures, and systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of project management tools, techniques, and practices.
- Experience in building relationships and negotiating outcomes with internal stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills for situations of moderate complexity in the field of project management.
- Ability to recognize the restricted nature of the work and obtain SC clearance or be eligible for this level of clearance.
