Job Title: ALN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ALN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in the Llandeilo area. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality support to children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist children in small classes (up to 4 pupils) and provide individualized support to meet their learning needs.
  • Help pupils diagnosed with learning difficulties throughout the day, offering encouragement and support to promote their academic and personal growth.
  • Maintain a good standard of behaviour within the classroom environment, promoting a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting children with learning difficulties and a strong understanding of the needs of children with ALN.
  • Ability to work effectively with teachers, other support staff, and parents to provide a comprehensive support package for children with ALN.
  • Confidence, organisation, and enthusiasm, with a passion for getting the best out of pupils.
