About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lost Shore Surf Resort in Edinburgh. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surf resort, including the wave pool, water treatment system, and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive and preventative planned maintenance at the Lost Shore Surf Resort.
  • Work as a team member of the maintenance team, including out-of-hours work and lone working.
  • Accountable for delivering a world-class visitor experience in a safe, appropriate, and legally compliant manner.
  • Report to the Maintenance Manager and work with and alongside maintenance team members.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate exceptional independence and problem-solving skills, coupled with a dedication to addressing issues promptly and effectively.
  • Either have a mechanical engineering background or hold electrical qualifications.
  • Embrace a customer-centric mindset, maintaining unwavering standards of excellence and fostering enduring relationships with stakeholders.
  • Exhibit outstanding organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a clear understanding of ethical principles, ensuring optimal outcomes in all endeavors.
  • Display resilience, composure, and proficiency in handling challenging situations, while remaining committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and environmental responsibility.
