Job Title: Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor

ATA Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee a small team of installation engineers for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of installation engineers in the North West region, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • 50% hands-on and 50% supervisory/office duties when on site.
  • Oversee the dismantling and re-installation of equipment, ensuring all pipework and process plant is stripped out effectively and organized for re-installation.
  • Ensure the work scope is on track, ordering parts and materials as needed.
  • Develop and maintain Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMs) and ensure they are being adhered to.
  • Prepare reports and quotations for smaller customer projects.
  • Work closely with management to ensure company processes and standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Time-served in Mechanical engineering, fabrication, welding, or pipefitting.
  • SSSTS, JIB card, black or gold safety card (ideally).
  • Proven track record of supervising small teams to meet requirements.
  • Pro-active, driven, team player, and organized.
  • Food/beverage/pharma process industry experience essential.
  • IT skills, including MS Outlook and Excel.
  • Flexible to travel around the North West region.
