About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Specialist to join our team at Ruskin Mill Trust. In this role, you will be responsible for leading student sessions focused on transforming horticultural produce into a range of products that can be sold in the farm shop or used in college kitchens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver sessions to small groups of students, tailored to their individual learning needs and requirements.
  • Embed communication, word, and number skills into all sessions with students.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of students' learning needs and make reasonable adjustments as required.

Requirements

  • Hold or be working towards relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Knowledge of specialist education.
  • Experience of working with learners with learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
