Sustainability Consultant – IESVE

At Penguin Recruitment Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Sustainability Consultant with a focus on IESVE to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. Our client is a leading player in the sustainable design and energy performance space, committed to driving environmental innovation in the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct energy and environmental performance analysis using IESVE software to identify opportunities for sustainable design and energy efficiency.
  • Provide expert guidance on Building Regulations Part L and Part O compliance for new and existing buildings, ensuring that our client's projects meet the highest standards of sustainability.
  • Support energy assessments and calculations for planning applications and building certifications, including SBEM, to ensure that our client's projects are compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with design teams to implement sustainable solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure effective project delivery and meet our client's sustainability goals.
Requirements:
  • Have detailed working knowledge of Building Regulations Part L, including energy performance requirements, and be able to apply this knowledge to real-world projects.
  • Have extensive experience in IESVE software for energy modelling and environmental simulations, and be able to use this expertise to drive sustainable design and energy efficiency.
  • Be familiar with Part O regulations concerning overheating and SBEM, and be able to apply this knowledge to ensure that our client's projects meet the highest standards of sustainability.
  • Have a background in sustainable building design, energy efficiency, and low-carbon technology, and be able to apply this knowledge to drive sustainable design and energy efficiency.
  • Have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide clear solutions, and be able to communicate complex sustainability concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
