Maintenance Engineer

Location: Keighley (commutable from Bradford/Leeds/Halifax)
We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a large, independent plastic manufacturing company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, diagnosing faults and troubleshooting mechanical issues, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, participating in continuous improvement initiatives, and working collaboratively with other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with a focus on problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop further in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
