About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Capital Project Lead. You will be responsible for managing large-scale engineering projects across our national site network, working closely with Innovation, NPD, Central, and Ops Engineering teams, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering process on national projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, PUWER legislation, and company regulations.
  • Manage CAPEX budgets, implement solutions, and provide project management skills.
  • Use purchasing and supplier negotiation skills to secure new plant machinery, while effectively managing supplier contracts and agreements.
Requirements
  • Extensive project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods environment.
  • Project engineering and hands-on operational engineering expertise.
  • Working knowledge of CAD or similar software and ability to read drawings and interpret designs.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management and able to build strong relationships across the business.
  • Engineering qualifications such as HND, HNC, BEng, or equivalent.
