Job Title: PLC Software Developer

Samuel Frank Associates is seeking an experienced PLC Software Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing PLC software from scratch and experience with Rockwell / Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs as well as associated SCADA software.

About the Role:
This role offers a great opportunity for a skilled PLC developer to join a successful North East-based systems integrator. You will be responsible for configuring and developing PLC / SCADA software from scratch, understanding and delivering the project lifecycle from concept through to completion, producing specifications and design documentation, and testing and commissioning safely in operational end user environments.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need 5+ years of relevant experience in automation engineering, a degree qualification with strong programming skills and solid documentation experience, and chartered status desirable. You must also have a UK driving licence and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, an 80/20 split of office based and on-site work, ongoing control system project work in various sectors, a professional working environment, and access to the best equipment. The office location is commutable from Slough, Reading, Swindon, Didcot, Farnborough, Camberley, and Maidenhead.
