Job Title: Payroll Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Senior to join our team at Evelyn Partners. As a key member of our Payroll team, you will be responsible for managing your own payroll portfolio, ensuring high levels of quality, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure all payrolls are efficiently processed and accurate.
  • Identify potential opportunities for payroll services and collaborate with the team to develop new business.
  • Participate in team meetings, share knowledge, and present new ideas and initiatives.
  • Build internal networks and collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and react to developments in payroll-related matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Attend to all payroll billing accurately and on time, and assist with new payroll on-boarding as needed.
  • Support HMRC enquiries and investigations, and manage and arrange Pension contributions payments on time.
Requirements:
  • Ability to identify process improvements to add value to clients and the service line.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and manage multiple payrolls simultaneously.
  • Current knowledge of developments in the sector, with a focus on payroll compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience of Star/IRIS Payroll Professional is desired, but not essential for the right candidate.
  • Ability to process payrolls for clients unassisted, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
