About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our clients' assets and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Project Implementation
- Manage stakeholders to provide onsite support of QA and QC processes and demonstrate how they are adding value by helping to ensure that business targets are met, and a continuous improvement process is maintained.
- Ensuring Best Practice
- Network and benchmark comparisons with other functions and businesses to achieve optimum business performance.
Requirements
- Essential
- An HNC or engineering degree qualification and/or engineering craft-based qualification and/or appropriate Project Management or Quality Assurance qualification, with relevant process plant knowledge and experience.
- Experience in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Requirements and Root Cause Analysis Techniques.
- An understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation and standards and a positive safety and quality mind set including a safety management qualification (IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH Certificate).
- Experience in implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes and their practical application through performing inspections of work within a process environment.
- A demonstrable track record of applying continuous improvement techniques to improve performance of management systems and processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across functions and with site teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills to create effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
- The confidence to challenge established practices and suggesting imaginative solutions.
- Full UK applicable drivers license.
- Desirable
- APMP or Prince 2 qualification in project management.
- Knowledge and competence of using SAP based systems.
- Experience in application of lean tools.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
