About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our clients' assets and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Project Implementation
    • Manage stakeholders to provide onsite support of QA and QC processes and demonstrate how they are adding value by helping to ensure that business targets are met, and a continuous improvement process is maintained.
  • Ensuring Best Practice
    • Network and benchmark comparisons with other functions and businesses to achieve optimum business performance.

Requirements

  • Essential
    • An HNC or engineering degree qualification and/or engineering craft-based qualification and/or appropriate Project Management or Quality Assurance qualification, with relevant process plant knowledge and experience.
    • Experience in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Requirements and Root Cause Analysis Techniques.
    • An understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation and standards and a positive safety and quality mind set including a safety management qualification (IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH Certificate).
    • Experience in implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes and their practical application through performing inspections of work within a process environment.
    • A demonstrable track record of applying continuous improvement techniques to improve performance of management systems and processes.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across functions and with site teams.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to create effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
    • The confidence to challenge established practices and suggesting imaginative solutions.
    • Full UK applicable drivers license.
  • Desirable
    • APMP or Prince 2 qualification in project management.
    • Knowledge and competence of using SAP based systems.
    • Experience in application of lean tools.
    • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
