The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ENT Consultant to join our multi-disciplinary medical team. As a highly valued member of our team, you will bring your expertise and skills in ENT surgery, particularly intermediate mouth, minor and major ear, and major nose procedures.

You will be required to perform ENT procedures on patients referred to the treatment centre, working in accordance with hospital protocols and working practices. This will include:

  • Mouth intermediate: Tonsillectomy, Laryngoscopy, and other intermediate mouth procedures
  • Minor Ear: Including excision of lesion
  • Major Ear: Tympanoplasty, Mastoidectomy, and possibly some more complex procedures
  • Major Nose: Intranasal ethmoidectomy, Rhinoplasty, and possibly some more complex procedures

As part of our professional, friendly, and compassionate team, you will ensure that patient treatment is of the highest standard, whether NHS or privately funded. You will participate in outpatient clinics prior to surgery and all aspects of operative care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Clinical skills in all aspects of ENT surgery
  • Able to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of problems within ENT surgery
  • Full and Specialist GMC Registration in relevant speciality
  • UK registerable Medical Degree
  • FRCS[ENT] or appropriate specialist qualification
  • Relevant CCT or equivalent
  • Past record of academic achievement
