Job Overview

The Podiatry Service at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of clinical services within the community, hospitals, and residential settings for at-risk patient caseloads.

The Specialist Podiatrist will be based in one locality team but will be expected to work across all localities for the Podiatry Service.

Key responsibilities include delivering patient care, managing high-risk patients with multiple clinical pathologies, and performing specialist interventions such as nail surgery, wound care, and vascular assessment.

Applicants should have significant experience working at Band 5 Podiatrist level and be able to work autonomously.

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will be responsible for assessing, treating, and planning patient care on a day-to-day basis using the Podiatry Service access criteria.

Appointment to this post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure with the Criminal Records Bureau.
