An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Job Description:

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in neurological physiotherapy, preferably with experience working in intensive care units (ICUs) or neurology departments. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves providing specialist physiotherapy services to patients with complex neurological conditions, including those requiring treatment on ITU. This includes assessing patients' physical abilities, developing and implementing personalized rehabilitation plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands. A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential for success in this position.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Postgraduate training in neurosciences or related field
  • Experience working in ICU or neurology department
Benefits:
