Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Maintenance Technician to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Forklift Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the service and repair of material handling equipment, including electric counterbalance forklifts, diesel forklifts, articulated forklifts, reach trucks, and side loaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair MHE equipment on-site and at customer locations
  • Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent customer service
  • Quickly and effectively diagnose faults on equipment to ensure minimal downtime for your clients
  • Provide solutions to queries from customers on site, liaising with the hire desk where required
  • Follow safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in our workshop and at customer sites
  • Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable way

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as engineer, mechanic, plant fitter, mobile plant fitter, workshop plant fitter, service fitter, service engineer, forklift engineer, mobile forklift engineer, forklift service engineer, material handling engineer or service technician
  • Experience in electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Excellent customer service skills and a motivated and enthusiastic attitude
