We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Radiotherapy department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver accurate and quality radiotherapy services to patients
- Provide support to patients, relatives, and carers during treatment
- Work autonomously within departmental protocols and legal, ethical, and professional frameworks
- State Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience as a Band 5 Therapy Radiographer
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Practical experience with IGRT 3D, VMAT, IMRT, and other advanced radiotherapy techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
