We are looking for a skilled Powertrain Calibration Engineer to support our Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM) sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the calibration process for various powertrain components, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Develop and implement detailed test plans to evaluate the entire powertrain system.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions.
- Develop and maintain system models and calibration simulations using advanced tools like MATLAB SIMULINK.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and implement best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of engineering.
- Expertise in diesel internal combustion engine operation and ancillary systems.
- Familiarity with powertrain system requirements and vehicle control systems.
- Experience with simulation systems, including MATLAB SIMULINK, and calibration toolsets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information.
- A flexible mindset, willing to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
- Competitive salary up to £55,000 based on experience.
