We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Activities Director to lead our team at Exemplar Health Care. As an experienced professional in activities coordination, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.

As an ideal candidate, you should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will work closely with staff members, residents, and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and achieve outstanding outcomes.

This is a 36-hour per week position, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our residents. In return for your dedication and hard work, you can expect a competitive salary of £12 per hour.

The location of this role is Wallasey, CH44 7HY, which offers easy access to local amenities and transportation links.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To design and deliver engaging activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and physical well-being.
  • To collaborate with staff members to ensure seamless integration of activities into daily routines.
  • To communicate effectively with residents, their families, and external partners to understand their needs and preferences.
  • To maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity evaluations.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work, Nursing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in activities coordination or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and record-keeping.
