Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients, working closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop understanding of the nursing process and assist registered nurses in the assessment, planning, management, and evaluation of care
- Support individuals with daily living tasks, providing person-centred care and promoting health and independence
- Perform and record clinical observations, including blood pressure, temperature, respirations, and pulse
- Undertake clinical tasks, such as cannulation, venepuncture, and ECGs
- Ensure the privacy, dignity, and safety of individuals are maintained at all times
- Recognise issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable children and adults and report any concerns to registered care professionals
- Level 2 Functional/Key Skills in English and Maths or GCSE English Language & Maths at Grade A-C /4-9
- Relevant, recent experience working within healthcare is essential
- The ability to study at Diploma level and a commitment to complete a Foundation Degree Apprenticeship
