Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and dedicated to providing high-quality service. As a School Chef, you will be responsible for leading and supervising catering assistants, assigning work, and training staff. You will also be responsible for quality control of all food, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and managing kitchen operations effectively.

You will work closely with other teams, including Local Kitchen Business Management, Business Support, and Operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services. The successful candidate will have fantastic customer service skills, be calm under pressure, and promote a professional image that mirrors the Team Wigan behaviours.
