Are you looking for a challenging role in project engineering and have a passion for process field projects? We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team at Professional Technical Ltd in Hemel Hempstead. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days WFH and 2 days in the office per week, a salary of circa £35,000 initially with reviews, and additional benefits including a bonus scheme of up to 12%, private medical insurance, and a generous pension scheme.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the execution and coordination of multi-discipline engineering projects associated with the process field, including pipelines, pumps, and actuator systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing project control from initial approval through to commissioning and handover.
  • Preparing project plans and programmes.
  • Identifying and managing design risks.
  • Providing appropriate engineering designs in accordance with relevant company, client, national, and international standards.
  • Conducting design reviews with project stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the preparation of commissioning plans.
  • Ensuring good engineering practices are maintained.
  • Operating to expected quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree (BEng equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • Project engineering experience, preferably in the context of design, project engineering, and construction.
  • Knowledge of specified engineering disciplines.
  • The ability to perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budgets and schedules under supervision.
  • A valid UK driving license.
