We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Surgical Workplaces service team at Getinge Ltd. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the routine servicing, testing, and repairing of our medical equipment in hospitals and facilities throughout the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Carrying out routine testing of Getinge equipment to the relevant standards
  • Problem solving and electrical/mechanical fault finding of equipment

  • Maintaining and monitoring adequate stock levels of spare parts

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience of field-based work
  • IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • A strong work ethic and first-rate organisational skills
  • A positive attitude towards working as part of a team and on own initiative
