AD Finance is seeking an experienced Insurance Credit Controller Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the credit control function, ensuring accurate and timely collection of debts, and maintaining strong relationships with underwriters and brokers.
Key Responsibilities:- Debt Collection and Management: Prepare and review the monthly aged debt report, ensuring accurate distribution to underwriters. Manage underwriters' responses and feedback on aged debt, as well as communication with brokers.
- Credit Control: Oversee the collection of aged debt for select syndicates. Adjust PAS entries as needed to manage the aggregate gap between written and signed premium.
- Financial Analysis: Review premium received to ensure correct allocation of funds.
- 3-5 years' experience in credit control or a similar role.
- Previous experience within a Lloyd's Syndicate is essential.
- Strong understanding of slips, endorsements, and premium calculations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Able to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A strong team player who is willing to support colleagues and contribute to team success.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
- Professional demeanour with excellent communication skills.
- Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
